Our Packing House capacity is approximately 180-200 tons per day.
Once the fruit reaches the packing house, goes through the drencher for disinfection and then stored until it goes to the process for packing. Usually in October before packing the company follows the Degreening Method procedure.
It is then washed , waxed, dried and sorted by size. The cartons are then carried to the accumulator area where they are automatically palletized. The pallets are then stored in the pre-cooler chambers till they are ready for export. All pallets are barcoded with all the necessary information to enable traceability. Once the truck arrives, the container is loaded and is ready to go to the port for shipment which is approximately 5 kilometers from the plantation.
